The breakfast was adequate. Hot and cold food & fruit available. Coffee, tea & juice. Fresh omlettes to order and pancakes.Not sure how lunch/evening meals work. There is a bar food menu available. Again, didn't use.The pool was lovely although there is not enough sunbeds. Get one before 10am. Poolside towels are available - not sure if there is a cost. Spacious area - though it was November; don't know what it would be like in the summer months.The room was well appointed. Bed very comfy. Shower was powerful and good temperature. The fridge wasn't really up to keeping things cold. Towels were changed daily. Housekeeping was always in the corridors if you need soap, shampoo, toilet roll. Not supposed to bring food or water etc into the hotel. The balcony was small. We used the table and two chairs from the room, it was tight but comfortable. We found no noise at all in the evening (Reading previous reviews and listening to current guests). I suppose it depends where your room is. We were on the side that looks to Danialand cable car. Could only get YouTube or dubbed English films on the TV. No WiFi in the rooms so it was hard to log into Amazon/Netflix - not sure if it was possible. WiFi on ground floor and pool area. I found all the staff friendly and approachable. Language was not an issue - always someone to help. I paid the hotel tax in Euros. Well advised to have some - handy for tipping. Try not to use the ATM in the hotel. Exchange rates are poor. MAD1000 dirhams in the hotel cost £89. Bank ATM cost £80. I booked a transfer to and from the airport. £15 - £16 each way. Definitely use the cable car. About £10 return. Views are outstanding. Gives a good perspective of where you are. Beachfront was very clean and spacious. The closest beach to this hotel is quite near the marina - so its the northern end of Agadir bay. Plenty of beach to the south. Tourist Information is a short walk along the promenade.

That they tell you can't bring in water or food. I can be quite fussy. I was not blatant about it, but I brought stuff in - they did not perform bag searches!

Good

Pool and snack bar selling alcohol is good. View from snack bar and pool is of the mountains not the city which is nice. Cheap room.

The main hotel restaurant was quite dated and I found the buffet breakfast a little poor, although it was included in the price of the room so I suppose it's cheap. We stayed just one night after travelling around , just to be close to airport which was around 40 mins drive away (depends on traffic)

Great no fuss place for a relaxing holiday with family and kids.

Staff were exceptional, reception, bar and restaurant, security and the lady who cleaned our rooms. Our Grandson was treated like a little prince. The pool and spacious garden area is beautiful and relaxing. Pool bar staff are wonderful especially Omar as always. Very little noise from the nightclub now which was a major problem in previous years. The area is safe and quiet and less touristy but very close to the beach. There are small shops, some nice restaurants and a great patisserie near by. Don’t miss the Maison du Pain up the hill for great coffee and baking.

The pool area was not kept clean. Tables , loungers and cushions needed attention. There was a major shortage of loungers and they are very worn. No fruit at breakfast and no fresh orange juice. Some of the bathrooms need basic refurbishment. Staff were overworked with guest numbers but they do their best. The hotel needs investment but has great potential

End of season

The staff very friendly, honest and helpful we. The position of the hotel is well.located to get to most places, there are a few good inexpensive restaurants and small food shops within a 5 - 10 minute walk. Mountain views excellent, the beach,clean and just a short ten minute walk

We arrived at the end of the season. The shower bath were.not very good and out dated rusted and they all need replacing, you cant use the bath (all rooms are the same the management told us) The hotel needs to be refurbished. Prices within the hotel, bar restaurant and cafes are 2 or 3 times more expensive than local shops cafes and restaurants Take ear plugs as there is a night club below which finishes at 5 am.

Average, but you get what you pay for.

Good location Large room(had a suite). Large swimming pool although rather cold. On site bar/ cafe. Fresh omelette and pancake station at breakfast.

Breakfast choice poor. Only 1 tea / coffee machine at breakfast so always had a queue. Fresh fruit only available once during the week and that was just oranges. Dirty table cloths. Hot food was usually choice of 3 things, apart from omelettes. Night club next door meant lots of noise often until 4am. No kettle in room (we took a travel kettle). Bath needs replaced. No privacy on balconies. Bad experience with tours that can be booked in the lobby. We booked 2 tours but due to illness had to cancel one at short notice. I was told I could not get a refund but eventually got something back. Despite advising of cancelling, we still got 2 phone calls and a knock on the door thus disrupting sleep early in the morning. I was told that the system cannot cancel bookings. The receipt showed no amount of monies paid, (all in cash), nor was there any cancellation policy explained. Our trip to the mountain was a waste of money. Our tour guide was not much more than just a driver and the vehicle was a disgrace. Poor break pads, doors didn't open properly and no air con in 34 degree heat. Beware what you are booking and you will be approached by the person who is selling these tours.

- Good location, very close to the beach and a lot of good restaurants around too - Very nice people at reception, clerck and security - Kids friendly - Steady babycrib (not a travelcot) so the baby slept great too - Nice room

You were not allowed to take food or drinks from outside inside the hotel. The security was very nice, but they did check if you bought food with you and would take it away. That kind of sucks as it wasnt in the description at booking.com, and we have a baby who need milk. They say we could buy everything at the hotel, but that's triple the price, and there wasnt a inhouse mini market, so the hotel couldnt accomodate what we needed (milk, fresh fruit), but also didn't allow us to bring it in. It's the management that does this wrong? The employees are really great. We booked with breakfast and no other meals, so it would make sense that we would bring stuff back into the hotel. There was even a mini fridge in the room, but still wondering for what...... About breakfast; the food was good. They will make you eggs however you prefer. Some days they were really slow with filling the food that was empty and cleaning out the tables. They could improve that a bit, but overall good breakfast.

Prime pool and location, worth the penny

Reception, pool area and snack bar/late night bar were fantastic and made up for the negatives. The pool has been recently renovated and it is just amazing. My partner and I cut short our beach day just to go back for a dip there. Room was comfortable and very quiet despite facing the beach/main road. Seems that they have solved the soundproofing issues. Also, the location is prime for everything. 5 min walk to the beach and shops, 10 min walk to the cable car, lots of cash machines and banks, etc.

Breakfast and dinner service could be better. There should always be fresh fruit in a breakfast buffet. The state of the bathroom was not the best, the bathtub lining is too old and stained, and many of the hooks for towels are missing or broken. Housekeeping does come every single day and refresh it nicely though. As a suggestion the hotel should fit fan extractors in the toilets to get rid of excess humidity and prevent mould. DO NOT use the ATM at the hotel as the fee is huge compared to the ones all around the area. Also, seek to pay your tourist tax in the local currency as it will be cheaper.

Staff are great and Rachid is exceptional.

Hotel is very centrally located and the area surrounding is lovely. The SPA was lovely and treatments were very good. Pool was lovely too and not crowded. The highlight of this hotel is the staff. They are extremely nice and polite and can not do enough for you. Nothing is a problem. Rachid who is always available in the reception area can be used to book your excursions. We done four excursions, agadir city tour, Saraha 4x4 day trip, Taroudant day trip and sunset camel rides and enjoyed everyone of them. The highlight being the Saraha 4x4 trip and not to be missed. Rachid was exceptionally helpful with any requests we had. He can organise cars to take you anywhere and help out with anything you'd like to do. He could not have provided a better service and I recommend you get to know him if staying there. He had his driver Hassan take us to the best local shops for real leather goods, gold and clothes. Hassan stayed with us and knew the shop keepers and ensured we got good deals. The shops tailored the clothes to suit us and Hassan later picked them up and had them delivered to our hotel room. Exceptional service

The mattresses on the beds are quite hard.

The breakfast was not good almost when cheese or moroccan pastery finished its taking time for staff to bring it and long queue on making eggs station - The bread Four was not working and no one tell you so was waiting some minutes waiting to warm the bread without no one telling me
